How does FOFI select its projects?
FOFI has developed criteria to ensure we work where there is the greatest need and where we can have the greatest impact. For e.g. FOFI considers international development indicators such as matching curriculum/syllabus to the needs of individuals, quality of education, long-term stability, etc. With regards partners, we seek individuals and organizations willing to work in collaboration with FOFI to improve people’s lives through sponsored education.
How does FOFI choose its sponsorship beneficiaries?
As with choice of schools, FOFI has criteria to ensure we work where there is the greatest need in sponsoring education where we can have the greatest impact, for example in rural communities. Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsors receive regular progress reports from FOFI. Sponsorship donations are used to sponsor the Boarding School development, a child's education, which improves the quality of lives of children and their families, including the building of schools and initiative incentive programs. Sponsorship is therefore one of the most transparent, sustainable systems for helping whole communities lift themselves out of poverty and secure their children's right to education and a better future. Most of our sponsors choose to make a commitment to donating money over a long-term period, providing a reliable source of funding for FOFI.
